It started with a pretty simple frustration: our team was tired of cannabis stores still feeling intimidating or carrying a stigma. We wanted to create something different—a place where people could walk in, ask questions, take their time and actually enjoy the experience.

Somewhere along the way, over a few edibles and a lot of ideas, Weed Kings was born.

We opened our doors in 2021 with Sylvan Lake as our home base, and we’ve been focused on building something local ever since. Weed Kings is an independent cannabis store built around good products, knowledgeable people and a welcoming, no-pressure approach to shopping.
